Company Description

Indian School Salalah was established on 10th July 1981 to provide education to Indian Students. It has grown from strength to strength providing quality education to the students of all nationalities (except Omanis). Now, it has around 4400 students, 164 teachers, 18 non- teaching staff and 42 Omani employees. It is an English medium co-educational school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi, India. The school campus is spread over 18195m2 piece of land in North Dahariz adjacent to Indian Social Club. At present it has 8334m2 built up area. The School is excellently landscaped and turfed playground is one of the largest among those of the expatriate schools in Oman. The school has a covered stage equipped with curtains, lights and sound system. There are well equipped Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Junior Science and Mathematics laboratories besides five Computer Science laboratories with 200 systems provided with broadband connectivity. There are 117 classrooms and separate rooms for Art, Craft, Music and KG activity rooms. The school has a fully computerized library. The students of primary section have a separate junior library. There is an additional audio-visual aids room with multimedia facilities as well as a multi-purpose hall for conducting different types of curricular and co-curricular activities. In addition, the school is well equipped with smart class, multimedia and audio visual classrooms.
